Creators of Bayonetta, mad world and the upcoming space strat DS game infinite space have released a teaser trailer for their 4th title, Vanquish. Directed by Shinji Mikami, biohazard/resident evil creator, the game does rather come over like a japanese take on halo, whilst also bringing to mind the aesthetic of Mikami's previous gamecube title PN03.
Lovely orbital beam weapon shot in there. it's not clear yet if the enemy is alien or another nation on earth. The obvious Japanese Halo comments may well be totally unfounded as far as the gameplay goes.
